Making your life more colorful

Your life comes to a dead end? You don’t know what to do? You have a job, but you hate it? You have friends, but you aren’t satisfied with the relationships with them? etc. All this makes your life more and more dull, uninteresting, black & white. To change it you need to answer a few questions that will help you to understand what you really want.

- Who are you? (What’s your appearance, what do you do, what do they like you for?)
- Whom would you like to spend time with to make your life more interesting?
- How much money do you need for this?
- What kind of job do you want to have?
- What should be your behavior?

The answers should be detailed. Then study them and choose 5-7 life goals which are the most important for you.

Then you need to choose only these goals which you are ready to work for.

And now only the most important things are left, but how to achieve all this?

1. Set priorities.
To achieve anything you should concentrate on your goals, to think of them, to work on them.

2. Make a plan of achievement of your goals.
Have you ever thought about why we manage to achieve some goals and with others we fail? For example, you want to give up smoking… sometime. And usually you manage to do it only when a doctor looks at the x-ray of your lungs and is worried about your health. But if your boss tells you to make a report till the next Friday, then you always manage to do it. The reason is obvious, we achieve our goal only when we set the exact terms for it.

3. Determine your goal with the help of certain steps on the way to its achievement.
Divide your big tasks into smaller ones. It will be easier for you to concentrate on your work.

4. Choose realistic, achievable goals.
When choosing your goals try to choose those that you are able to do by yourself. Don’t choose unrealistic goals, because you’ll simply waste your time and energy.

5. Be responsible.
Being responsible for your goals won’t let you give it up.

Remember, we create the world around us, so let’s do not waste our precious time and live our life to the fullest.

Roman: Great post and I really appreciated your last sentence and how you summed up the post. We really do create the world and if we don’t take advantage of that, we are just wasting our opportunity. Thanks for the inspiration and the motivation this morning. Great post.
