Do we need to use optimism in our life? The answer is obvious, optimism has a great influence on your life in general, and its impact on your health is also significant.

But, not everyone is able to lead an optimistic lifestyle and too many people are fighting their life problems every day which leads to a bad mood and depression. And despite all sorts of problems you still need to stay optimistic.

Some time ago I’ve already answered what is optimism and how it helps to live. Today it’s time to speak about how to be optimistic despite any life problem.

How to be optimistic despite any life problem

1. When it seems that you won’t cope with the problem – avoid bad thoughts. Focus on the positive resolution of this situation. After all, positive thinking is an inevitable part of optimistic lifestyle.

2. If you don’t like the things you do, try to find something positive in them and then use this method in every aspect of your life.

3. If there’s some problem in your life – solve it, or accept the fact that it can’t be changed and go on living.

4. Choose a circle of friends who are not whiners and losers, but those with a constructive and positive outlook on life and optimistic attitude.

5. Remember 3 positive things that happened to you during the day and write them in your diary (if you have one).

6. Don’t forget that optimism helps to stay healthy and this should be your main motivation to lead an optimistic lifestyle.

7. On the way home, come to any person on the street, subway, bus, smile and wish them good day.

Remember that in any negative situation there can be found a positive side. So, believe in yourself, think positively and you’ll do wonders.

And what are your ways to stay optimistic despite any problem?

Life problems can really pull us down. i get really irritable and I tend to snap when I have problems. Thanks for all these tips. People keep telling me to start a journal (or diary) and I think I really should.
Also, maybe it would help if you do something for yourself that you can look forward to after a crappy week. I love to write and I turn to that to stay positive.

Hi Glori! Thanks a lot for commenting! I really appreciate it!
By the way, having a diary is really helpful for personal development, it helps to understand your problems, rethink some life situations, find the right solution, etc.

Roman,
I just wanted to thank you for writing this post. I had been searching for some tips to get through some rough times. I had even started my own blog… to vent and ask others for advise.
So thank you again.

Melissa
